With over 80 gigs in 15 countries, the title 'Michael McIntyre’s Big World Tour' delivers on its promise.
The BAFTA award-winning comedian will start the Australian leg of his around-the-world trip in March next year.
Beloved by audiences for his canny, observational comedy, Michael plucks the funny from everyday exasperations that are all-too-familiar to his loyal audiences.
The opening weekend of his tour gained attention after a 19-year-old fan was hospitalised from chest inflammation after the Plymouth live show. “The doctor asked where I had been and he said ‘It’s obvious what you’ve done ... you’ve laughed too hard!’," the fan told the UK’s Independent newspaper.
Michael has packed arenas from New Zealand to Dubai, and at home in the UK where he has sold over 1.5 million tickets.
In addition to his own award-winning television show, the funnyman has hosted the Royal Variety Performance twice and appeared as a judge on Britain’s Got Talent.
