Record-setting American comedian Matt Rife will visit Australia as part of his ‘Stay Golden’ world tour.
The Australian run will hit Brisbane, Adelaide, Melbourne, Sydney and Perth. It’s an extension of Matt’s largest sold-out tour to date.
Matt is a comedian, actor, producer, writer and New York Times best-selling author. Across his career, he has cemented himself as one of the biggest stand-ups in the world, amassing more than 44.6 million followers on social media and racking up more than 3 billion views globally.
He started at age 15, originally from a small town near Columbus, Ohio. He then moved out to Los Angeles two years later, where he began his career in Hollywood.
Last year, Rife’s first book ‘Your Mom’s Gonna Love Me’, was released, instantly becoming a New York Times best-seller. The book reveals what led him to where he is, in a story of bold and hysterical takes on everything from rap battles with ex-cons, to Matt’s struggles with depression and brushes with failure.
Matt’s currently on his biggest tour to date. It has sold out two shows at Madison Square Garden, where he became the youngest comedian to do so.
As a result of all of his success, Mat earned placement on the Forbes list for Forbes 30 Under 30 in 2023, and the top creators lists in 2024 and 2025.
Tickets go on sale 3 October at 10am local.
