If you wasted your '90s youth watching 'Full Frontal' and 'Good News Week' on ABC then there's a good chance you remember an Irish bloke named James Eoin Stephen Paul McKeown, better known as notorious funny-man, Jimeoin.
Almost a quarter of a century since starting in show business, Jimeoin is teaming up with three of Australia's comedic heavyweights – Tom Ballard, Fiona O'Loughlin and Dave Thornton – for the 'Laugh Your Pants Off' comedy show for a one night only comedy mash up at Jupiter's Hotel and Casino on the Gold Coast.

Originally finding work as a gardener when he first moved to Australia at 22, it didn't take long for his brilliantly funny quick wit and charming observations on the absurdities of everyday life to transport Jimeoin onto Australian television sets. Working on 'Full Frontal' for five years he gained a world-wide audience through his own TV show 'Jimeoin', which ran for three seasons through '94 and '95.
Since then Jimeoin has morphed into a household name across the world, enjoying a host of widely successful sell-out Australian tours and shows from New York to New Zealand, Aspen to Amsterdam and the Middle East to the far east. Performing at multiple comedy festivals around the world, Jimeoin makes regular appearances on internationally rated TV shows including 'Rove Live' and 'Late Night With Conan O'Brien'.

With the experience and accessibility Dave Thornton will bring to his second 'Laugh Your Pants Off' (performing beside Peter Helliar and Wil Anderson last year) and the story-based, personally-funny style Fiona O'Loughlin brings, the Queensland Managing Director of 'Laugh Your Pants Off', Geoff Hogg, says the cracking line-up of comic masters once again promises to deliver nothing short of a barrel of laughs.

'Laugh Your Pants Off' will be held at the Jupiter's Hotel and Casino on the Gold Coast on 7th November.
