The 13th edition of the Just For Laughs Sydney Comedy Festival is approaching, set for November and featuring a star-studded line-up of international and local comedians.
International and local comedians will perform in theatres and arenas around Sydney for the event, with the likes of Eddie Izzard, Rob Beckett, Jeff Dye, Emma Holland, He Huang, Dan Rath, Tom Walker, Aboriginal Comedy Allstars and more lined up to entertain the masses.
Plus, ‘RocKwiz Live’ will return, with a swagger of top Australian comedians and musicians.
To top it all off, for a night of side-splitting laughs, is the Just For Laughs All-Star Gala, hosted by Shaun Micallef and featuring a line-up of some of the industry’s best international and Australian comedians.
“I’m thrilled for the 13th edition of Just For Laughs Sydney. Much like the iconic silhouette of the Sydney Opera House is synonymous with the city itself, the festival has become an essential stop in the global celebration of comedy,” Just For Laughs President & CEO Sylvain Parent-Bédard says.
“We’re proud to be teaming up with our trusted partners at Bohm Presents and it's safe to say that audiences can expect another brilliant line-up, showcasing both international stars and standout local talent.”
Aboriginal Comedy Allstars will star Australia’s premiere First Nations comedians Kevin Kropinyeri, Sean Choolburra, Andy Saunders, Steph Tisdell, Elaine Crombie, Dane Simpson, Jay Wymarra and Janty Blair. They’ve already enjoyed sell-out seasons and 5-star reviews in the UK, Adelaide, Melbourne, Brisbane, Darwin and beyond.
The Alternative Show, hosted by Demi Lardner, will be a night of comedy that defies convention, bringing together a powerhouse line-up of offbeat and unpredictable comics: Dan Rath, Sez, Tom Walker, and Neel Kolhatkar.
