Often touted as Australia's own Seinfeld, Melbourne comedian Joe Avati is bursting with new material having gone a little stir crazy during Victoria's extended lockdown period.
Alongside his contemporaries Carl Barron, Judy Lucy and Shane Bourne, Joe has carved out a sizeable niche within the Australian (and international) comedy landscape, providing plenty of belly laughs for the last quarter century. His new show, '25 Live Have Some Respect', delves into this second generation Italian Aussie's newfound role as a doting father as well as his upbringing in the '70s and '80s as a 'wog kid' – as he prefers to call himself.
Joe will take his new show around the country May 2022 with stops in Adelaide, Melbourne, Perth, Wollongong and Sydney. Queensland fans can also expect a visit from Joe with show details to be confirmed.
Joe's witty observations about life's everyday challenges have seen him travel the globe, selling out shows as well as producing a number of theatre shows.
He also hosts popular podcast 'A Serious Chat with A Comedian'; and if that's not enough, he's about to release a children's book titled 'When I Was Your Age'.
