American stand-up comedian and actor Jo Koy, who had his beginnings performing in a Las Vegas coffee house, will play arenas and theatres in Australia for his ‘Just Being Koy’ tour this June.
Jo pulls inspiration from his colourful family through his comedy. The LOLs have reached and entertained sold-out arenas around the world, and he continues to break sales records at some of the most prestigious venues, including Mall Of Asia Arena (Manila), The Forum (LA), Coca-Cola Arena (Dubai), our own ICC Theatre (Sydney), and Radio City Music Hall (NYC). . . To name a few.
In 2017, Jo broke a record for the most tickets sold by a single artist – 23,000 – at The Neal S. Blaisdell Concert Hall in Honolulu. He was given the Stand-Up Comedian Of The Year Award at the 2018 Just For Laughs Comedy Festival in Montreal, and he reached #1 on the Billboard Charts for his stand-up comedy album ‘Live From Seattle’.
He’s appeared on more than 140 episodes of ‘Chelsea Lately’ as a season regular, but he’s also been seen on ‘The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon’, ‘The Late Late Show With James Corden’, ‘Jimmy Kimmel Live’, ‘Last Call With Carson Daly’ and more.
