Much-loved Aussie entertainer Jimmy Rees will hit the road on his ‘In Reel Life’ tour in late 2025.
The Order of Merit recipient and AACTA-nominated personality, who began his career as Jimmy Giggle on the hit ABC Kids show ‘Giggle & Hoot’, will play Hobart, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Sydney, Adelaide, Perth, Melbourne and Canberra.
Jimmy has already played live to more than 100,000 people across his ‘Meanwhile In Australia’, ‘Not That Kinda Viral’ and ‘Let’s Get Regional’ tours.
His first foray outside of the world of kids TV was as a competitor on ‘Dancing With The Stars’ where he was dubbled ‘Jimmy Sizzle’ by the judges. The pandemic, however, was when the reinvention really took a front seat. Jimmy’s content connected with millions, racking up to 40 million views per video on Facebook alone.
He’s now got four million social media followers, thanks to his on-point social observations and sharp satire. His ‘Meanwhile In Australia’ series, The Brighton Ladies, the Guy Who Decides and Byron Baes all resonate with people here, and around the globe.
In 2022, Jimmy ventured out on his first solo tour – originally starting as 5 shows, which built into 35 sold-out dates in large-scale venues across Australia.
"I’m psyched to be touring my brand-new live show ‘In Reel Life’ around Australia," Jimmy says. "Starting this October it will be my first time touring the bigger cities in two years and I’m coming to each location for one night only!"
