British stand-up, writer and actor Jen Brister is visiting Australia for the first time in more than a decade, kicking off in May.
Jen, who has previously made appearances on BBC’s ‘Live At The Apollo’, ‘Frankie Boyle’s New World Order’, ‘The Weakest Link’, ‘QI’ and ‘Mock The Week’, will bring ‘Reactive’ to Canberra, Brisbane, Hobart, Sydney, Melbourne and Perth.
The Australian shows come after an extended, 115-date, sell-out tour of the UK in 2022/23. . . And a sold-out debut run in the USA just last year.
Jen Brister is a regular of the UK and international comedy circuits. She’s written seven solo shows, performed at the Edinburgh Comedy Festival, and even written a comedy memoir titled ‘The Other Mother’.
‘Reactive’ reflects Jen’s hilarious perception of the world, as she finds herself in a constant state of exacerbation at life. . . And people in general! According to Jen, audiences can expect “a heavy dose of jetlag mixed with my very 'on brand' joie de vivre”.
“I can't wait to be back performing in Australia after an 11 year hiatus,” Jen says. “This will be my very first tour down under and I'm expecting great things!”
Tickets are on sale now.
