Aussie comedian James McCann, who has been busy wowing audiences around America with his sharp humour, will come home for shows in Adelaide, Perth, Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney this July-August.
The South Australian native returns for a limited run after making a significant impact in the US, touring with comedy giants like Shane Gillis, Mark Normand, Matty McCuskeer, Tim Dillon and Sam Talent. Tens of thousands of people have watched him in renowned venues in New York, Pittsburgh, Nashville and Los Angeles. . . As well as Joe Rogan’s Comedy Mothership club, in Austin.
James is known for sharp humour, clever observations, and dark comedic style. He’s earned a growing fanbase over the years, since beginnings at local open mic nights in Adelaide where he won Adelaide Comedy’s Best Newcomer in 2009. Since, he has appeared at Adelaide Fringe for 13 consecutive years.
His podcast series ‘The James Donald Forbes McCann Catamaran Plan’ features interviews, comedic monologues and discussions on various topics. He’s also published two volumes of poetry, and he’s long established as a journalist and broadcaster.
