In his new show 'The Silencer', Heath Franklin's Chopper extends to his global audience a warm and gracious invitation to kindly shut up.
In true Chopper style, everyone's favourite criminal confronts a world of noise, from feminazis to toxic masculinity, dole bludgers to anti-vaxxers, climate change and cancel culture. These days, everyone's got an opinion and Chopper's going to take a machete to them all.
"I've been working on this show for a while so I'm chomping at my bits to finally get out there and do it for audiences,” Uncle Chop-Chop says.
"It's going to be a fun show this year, it's about dogs and Nazis and papaw ointment and amphetamines and mostly just wanting a bit of shush."
Form a queue, take a number, whatever, Chopper's done caring and he's here to tell you exactly why you, and your precious opinions, are wrong.
Picking up the 'Comic's Choice' Award at the 2018 Melbourne International Comedy Festival to add to his two ARIA nominations, one Logie nomination and over 500,000 tickets sold worldwide, Chopper is a genuine comedy icon.
"It's my first show back since I won the award at Melbourne International Comedy Festival, so I'm just looking to kick it right in the dick,” Chopper quips.
