Award-winning Kiwi stand-up comedian, podcaster and improviser Guy Montgomery is a regular visitor to Australian shores, and in 2023 Guy is heading all over the place in his ‘My Brain Is Blowing Me Crazy’ tour.
Guy performed to sold-out crowds at Melbourne International Comedy Festival (MICF) and toured the country with ‘Guy Montgomery By Name, Guy Montgomery By Nature’ and ‘Guy Mont-Spelling Bee’ in 2022. Then, he returned to NZ to appear as a contestant on ‘Celebrity Treasure Island’.
Guy was also one of only eight comedians selected to perform for ‘Live @ The Malthouse’ which is currently streaming on Paramount+.
The comedian has taped sets for Comedy Central US and Just For Laughs in Montreal, starred in ‘Taskmaster’ New Zealand, sold out shows at the Just For Laughs Festival, Edinburgh Fringe and MICF, toured his podcast ‘The Worst Idea Of All Time’, and appeared several times on ‘The Project’, ‘Comedy Up Late’ and the MICF Oxfam Gala.
“I used to be a little boy but now I am a 34-year-old man,” Guy says. “The world is a crazy place and I would like to tell you about it.”
