Comedian, actor and writer Felicity Ward is hitting stages for her first national tour in more than five years.
There's a perfectly reasonable explanation as to why it's been such a long wait – Felicity's been pretty busy after all. . . a BBC live comedy special, a Paramount+ special, a starring role in 'Wakefield' on ABC, oh. . . And she had a baby!
Now she's back to talk about birth, Quorn, fingering, transition lenses. . . There's simply nothing that Felicity can't get worked up about. She's stepped into her power. What's her power, you might ask?: 'I'm Exhausting!'.
Before you see her as the new David Brent in the Australian remake of 'The Office', check out Felicity in her first love, stand-up.
We asked Felicity to put together a top five ahead of her tour – and she's got some things you're going to want to avoid doing if you don't want to look like a total pervert. Sage advice incoming.
One
Wear transition lenses. Truly the best way to get people to think you’re up to something revolting is to pop on this creepy eyewear. These shades will make you look gross inside, or outside. Versatility is the key.Two
Smell your fingers. Speaks for itself really. Go on, have a sniff. What a perve.Three
Whistle. You know who whistles recreationally? Psychopaths. When have you ever seen whistling in a film where someone isn’t about to die, or scared for their life? Never. For a power combo try two and three at the same time to hammer home the ick-ness.Four
Wink at a stranger. Just try it. On a bus. Lining up for a drink. About to go skydiving. I just winked at you; something’s up baby!Five
Trousers up to your nipples. There’s no style of fashion, no waistline, no trend that can justify pants that sit just under your tits (gender neutral). It says, 'maybe I’m going to the toilet right now, as we speak' without saying a word.Felicity Ward 2024 Australia Tour Dates
