He’s just celebrated an extended tour which ended up being his largest UK and Ireland tour to date – now, award-winning comedian, co-host and judge Ed Gamble is turning his attention to Australia with 'Hot Diggity Dog'.
Ed can be heard on the ‘Off Menu’ podcast and ‘Taskmaster The Podcast’, and see on ‘Taskmaster’ and ‘Great British Menu’. He’s enjoyed stand-up performances with ‘Live At The Apollo’, ‘The Royal Variety Performance’, ‘The Russell Howard Hour Live’, and ‘Conan’.
The multi-hyphenate has been pretty busy lately. He brought the award-winning ‘Off Menu’ podcast with James Acaster to life on stage, and released his first book, ‘The Multi-Course Life Of A Very Greedy Boy’. Plus, he was crowned the series nine winner of ‘Taskmaster’, appeared in more than 30 episodes of ‘Mock The Week’, and co-hosts Sunday morning on Radio X, with Matthew Crosby.
Ed’s minced a lot of meat (thoughts), piped it into a casing (show), and it’s coming to a bun (venue) near you. Contents include classic Gamble ranting, raving and spluttering – but he’s doing just fine mentally.
“I’m delighted to once again be packing all my underwear into my little satchel and making the journey to Australia and New Zealand,” Ed says. “Last time I was over, a woman was late to the show because a chicken pecked her in the eye. That will be hard to top, but we’ll do our best.”
