Dave Chappelle is one of the most distinctive voices in comedy. A comedian, screenwriter, television and film producer, actor and artist, Chappelle has been working in the entertainment industry since the age of 14.
His 2003, boundary–bashing television series, ‘Chappelle’s Show’, catapulted the comic into international stardom. In 2004 the first season DVD set of ‘Chappelle's Show’ had become the best-selling TV series of all time, beating out ‘The Simpsons’, ‘Family Guy’, and ‘Friends’.

In 2005, Chappelle was the star and a producer of the Michel Gondry directed documentary ‘Dave Chappelle's Block Party’, chronicling a free, star-studded concert in Brooklyn on September 18, 2004.
