Dara O’Briain 2023 Australia Tour

Dara O’Briain
Our eclectic team of writers from around Australia – and a couple beyond – with decades of combined experience and interest in all fields.

Irish comedian Dara O’Briain is back on tour with his new live stand-up show ‘So… Where Were We?’.

Dara made a name for himself as one of the most recognisable faces on British television. He’s hosted BBC Two’s long-running panel show ‘Mock The Week’, plus ‘Stargazing Live’, ‘Dave’s Go8Bit’ and the Comedy Central reboot of ‘Blockbusters’.

The tour will see Dara travel across Australia this November, including a stop in Sydney for the Just For Laughs Comedy Festival.

By the time Dara wrapped up his highly successful previous tour, ‘Voice Of Reason’, the comedian had performed it 180 times over 2 years, across 20 countries. By March of 2020 he was ready for a break, and the universe works in mysterious ways, because the entire world had a break.

Dara would now like to apologise for the break request, and will never wish for anything like that again.

Now, he’s back on the road, and he’ll never stop again because that’s clearly what caused this mess! Plus, he ate a bat.

Dara’s new show ‘So… Where Were We?’ will strive to barely mention the last few years. . . Because who wants to hear about that? Instead there’ll be a mix of stories, one-liners, audience messing, and tripping over his words because of how giddy and excited he is to be back in front of a crowd.

Tickets are on sale 14 August at 9am.
