Multi award-winning comedian and self-proclaimed ‘people’s princess’ of New Zealand, Chris Parker, is back with a brand-new show.
The show is called ‘Lots Of Love’.
First came love, then came marriage. Now, as a 32-year-old, childless, inner-city living homosexual, Chris is naturally wondering what comes next. Sure, the idea of getting a puppy sounds good, and a purebred dachshund is on the cards. . . But Chris is also worried about becoming one of those people who forces his friends to come over to celebrate the birthdays of the ‘doggo’.
Chris Parker is most commonly known for Instagram and TikTok videos which built him a huge social media audience. Plus, Chris won the New Zealand TV show ‘Celebrity Treasure Island’. This year, Chris released the comedy/documentary special for TVNZ, ‘Chris Parker: Back To School’.
More recently, Chris was the recipient of the inaugural Topp Prize, awarded by the New Zealand Comedy Trust for Aotearoa’s most generous and gifted comedian.
Looking to the future, Chris’s new comedy series ‘Double Parked’ – written and created with Alice Snedden – will premiere, and he’ll be featured in ‘Rhys Nicholson’s Big Queer Comedy Concert’ for Amazon Prime.
Tickets are on sale now.
