Hosted by comedian Dane Simpson, 'Best Of Wagga Wagga' aims to present audiences at Melbourne International Comedy Festival with some of the best up-and-coming comedians hailing from country New South Wales.
Wagga Wagga is known for three things: the creation of the Chiko Roll (a very important historic milestone), an online game called Servo Bingo, and perhaps the best rural comedy scene in the country.
'Best Of Wagga Wagga' features Oliver Hunter, Steff Wills, Jamal Abdul, David Cunneen and Ben Atkinson, with Dane holding it all together with his hosting abilities.
Dane's achievements include – but aren't limited to – being a part of the MICF Roadshow, appearing on Ten's 'Have You Been Paying Attention?', and even being part of homegrown romantic comedy film 'The Merger'. His family are a regular fixture in his stand-up sets. Known as 'Wagga's favourite son', Dane is amped to be presenting audiences with talent and laughs from his stomping ground.
