Star of sitcom 'Parks And Recreation' and Netflix’s 'Master Of None', American comedian Aziz Ansari has announced the final run of his internationally sold-out tour 'Road To Nowhere' including stops in Melbourne and Sydney.
The writer, producer and Golden Globe Award-winning actor, Aziz returns for his first Australian stand-up dates since his 2012 tour of 'Buried Alive' which was described as “an evening of bewilderment and disillusion”.Aziz is best known for his role as Dev on his co-created and co-produced show 'Master Of None' which is loosely based on his real-life experiences as a New York-based actor who is struggling to identify what he really wants, both personally and professionally. In its second season, Aziz won the the 2016 and 2017 Emmy Award for Outstanding Writing for a Comedy Series and received additional nominations for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Comedy Series.
As well as 'Master Of None', he was originally renowned as the cocky yet lovable character Tom Haverford on the Emmy Award-nominated series 'Parks And Recreation' playing a small time government employee bent on becoming a “Diddy”-like mogul.
