Just like a good boomerang, two of Australia's funniest First-Nationers are back, and this time they're putting the 'rad' into 'traditional'.
Dane Simpson and Matt Ford bring their brand-new hour of stand-up 'Aborigi-LOL: The Return' to Melbourne International Comedy Festival after sold-out runs in 2019.
Dane Simpson brings to the partnership hilarious dad jokes. He was a Deadly Funny national finalist in 2015 and since then it has been a rapid trajectory for this Wagga-based comedian with a whirlwind of tours, corporate gigs and TV appearances as well as being cast in feature film 'The Merger'. Dane also runs the Riverina Comedy Club on the first Friday of every month.
Matt Ford is the glorious cynic of the pair and is much in-demand on the Brisbane comedy circuit. His acerbic observations and hilariously blunt delivery won him acclaim at the age of 16 when he took first prize at the Class Clowns national teenage comedy competition. Still in his early 20s, Matt carries the demeanour of a cranky 40-year-old.
The chemistry Dane and Matt share makes for incendiary live shows which leave audiences in rapturous fits of laughter and have had critics raving.
