You know those TV talk show hosts who have graced our screens such as Letterman, Conan O'Brien and Rove?
Well, this year, comedian Aaron Gocs will be presenting 'Gocsy Tonight' – his version of the types of shows those guys present. . . Except, live at a comedy festival. . . And not broadcast on TV.
Here are five things to expect at the show.
One
Special guests. A great line-up of Gocsy's mates that he has met along the way in his travels – a lot of comedians doing the festivals but also a sprinkling of musos, sportos and some otheros that will come to the desk for a chat and maybe even a quick performance if Gocsy asks nicely.Two
Comedy. The menu includes jokes, stories and anecdotes all delivered with razor-sharp wit which should create a decent serving of laughter, happiness and enjoyment.Three
Trivia. A chance to test your brain with some fun trivia covering several different subjects including pop culture, sports, geography and others. Who will make it to the top of Mt Trivia? You will have to come along to find that out.Four
Prizes. There will be some prizes given out.Five
World record attempts. There may be some world record attempts as well if time allows!Aaron Gocs was due to play Comedy Festivals in Perth, Brisbane, Gold Coast, Melbourne and Sydney, all of which have been cancelled due to COVID-19.
