The year 2022 saw Daniel Connell take his sell-out show 'Gutless Wonder' around the country, and this year he's preparing to hit the road once again.
He first hit the scene after moving to Melbourne in 2010, and it was only a year later that he performed as part of Melbourne International Comedy Festival (MICF). Flash forward to now, and he's played at ten consecutive MICFs and has made several TV appearances.
The loveable stand-up with a trademark observational and dry comedy style is set to deliver the laughs for audiences around the country in 'I'm Always Sore'.
Here, Daniel's feeling pretty vengeful – as he lists five moments of sweet revenge.
One
It was 1998, my good friend Matt had sent a fake love letter to a girl in our class. The next day I killed him.Two
In 2004 (after serving four years for murder) a man accidentally bumped into me in a pub, he apologised, and we laughed it off. The next day I killed him.Three
Circa 2011 (after serving six years for murder) I had lunch with an old mate, he paid for lunch, it was very nice, too nice actually. Revenge was sweet that day.Four
In 2012 (I got away with the 2011 one) an elderly gentleman helped me put a shovel, some lime etc into my car at Bunnings. I had no reason to do it revenge wise, but to be fair, I was out of control at the time.Five
Did you read this far in? Cheers, I've always wondered if people read these things, most of the above is a lie obviously. Anyway, come to my show if you're free.Daniel Connell Tour Dates
