The Wonderland Spiegeltent Festival Hub at Adelaide Fringe brings tropical vibes, great times and world-class cabaret, comedy, circus and music along with a festival atmosphere.
The nostalgic Wonderland Spiegeltent is the most enchanting of structures – feel the weight of 10,000 late nights when you walk inside, evoking stories of love, passion and debauchery from Europe in the 1930s. Velvet and brocade curtains balloon inside, whispering the secrets of performances gone by; intimate booths, a circular stage and stained-glass windows transport you back to an era of cheek and charm, sass and decadence – the lusty, busty crème de la crème of the cabaret world.
This year's live programme at Adelaide Fringe is packed with glittering, thrilling, mesmerising and heartwarming entertainment.
Take Reuben Kaye for example – the obscenely intelligent, beautifully filthy and rib-crackingly funny cabaret performer, who will be bringing high camp and humour to the festival for all the adults who dare to bear witness to his hilarity.

Perhaps you're after an aquatic circus adventure – luckily 'Circus Wonderland: A Mermaid's Tale' will present an all-star line-up of sea-faring fun in the form of world-class circus performers. It's a show suitable for the whole family and is sure to keep everyone on the edge of their seats.

Meanwhile, in a dark, shadowy corner of the Spiegeltent, circus show 'Barbaroi' explores a dystopian world in the not-too-distant future, where gangs overrun the neon-clad streets and the outcasts rule the ruins of an old district. AfterDark Theatre present this show filled with chaos as a lone wanderer faces her initiation among a crew of meta-human misfits.
Head First Acrobats will bring 'Elixir' to Wonderland, a physical theatre show seen – and sold out – across the world following three scientists as they ingest chemicals and discover the ultimate body-enhancing human elixir. It's a full serve of dynamic circus, hilarity and brinkmanship.

Rounding out the theatrical side of things in the Spiegeltent is the 'Debauched Late Show', combining death-defying thrills and hilarity in a night of cabaret, circus and sexy burlesque featuring a variety of Australian performers.
For lovers of music, there's no shortage of opportunities for a good groove in the Spiegeltent, either. ARIA Award-winner Fanny Lumsden will celebrate her latest album 'Fallow' in a brand-new show, alongside her band The Prawn Stars and special guest Timothy James.

Also, country music royalty will grace Wonderland as Beccy Cole takes to the stage with acclaimed jazz and cabaret performer Libby O'Donovan, as they carry audiences with them on a journey of intertwining genres, song swapping, story sharing and stereotype shattering.
Gordi (Australian singer-songwriter-producer Sophie Payten from Canowindra) brings her ARIA-nominated second album 'Our Two Skins' to life in a special, intimate performance just for the Fringe. The album explores identity, community and isolation.
Last but not least, everyone's welcome at the Adelaide Blues Music Festival boasting an all-Australian, non-stop, all-star blues line-up featuring Kings And Associates, Lazy Eye, Chris Finnen, Stefan Hauk Band, Stormhorse, Cal Williams, Steve Brown Band and Youth In Blues.
The Wonderland Spiegeltent is an arts and entertainment playground for all.
