Our eclectic team of writers from around Australia – and a couple beyond – with decades of combined experience and interest in all fields.

What do sexy fairy tales and a French brothel have in common? Tone & Cheek Productions is inviting you to experience both this Fringe World Perth season.

Everyone knows the story of the girl in the red hood. . . Or so they think. Tone & Cheek will explore the traditional themes of classic fairy tales in 'Happy Endings', giving them an adults-only twist and presenting them through the guise of a reality dating show.

Cast includes Co-Producer and Choreographer Natalie Oakes, vocal powerhouse Tory Kendrick, drag superstar Fay Rocious, The Proud Awards Entertainer Of The Year Matthew Pope, and STAR Awards Showgirl Of The Year Melina Mall. Plus, interstate performers Christian Nimri and Alfie D'Elia.

Then there's 'Club D'Amour: Back Door', making its debut this Fringe season, and promising the dirtiest, most debaucherous and delicious night out. It's a flirtatious fusion of dance, burlesque, circus and live music promising to build on the beloved elements of the original.

The star-studded cast makes a triumphant return, also featuring Natalie Oakes, Fay Rocious, Matthew Pope, Melina Mall, and vocal powerhouse Amber Scates. Christian Nimri, Alfie D'Elia and Saint Eve join the cast from interstate too.

The folks at Tone & Cheek have penned two top fives to tease and tantalise these two fabulous shows.

Five songs to get you in the mood for 'Club D'Amour: Back Door’

One

'What's Your Pleasure?' by Jessie Ware. We take our audience on a journey of discovery and hopefully they have an answer to this by the end of the show or at the very least a few follow-up questions.

Two

'Sexxx Dreams' by Lady Gaga. This show is a bit of a sex dream and who doesn't love a sex dream, all the fun with none of the mess.

Three

'I Touch Myself' by Divinyls. We encourage and educate all visitors of 'Club D'Amour' to take the time to get to know themselves, we ask that you please don't do it during the show.

Four

'Would You (Go To Bed With Me?)' by Campbell x Alcemist. You should always be crystal clear in asking for what you want, doesn't mean you're going to get it, but as the old saying goes 'if you don't ask, you don't get'.

Five

'Throb' by Janet Jackson. No explanation necessary.
