Tina was the cherub and comrade to the likes of Judy Garland, Bette Davis, Marilyn Monroe… But she never quite made it to be a household name. Or did she? In Tina’s eyes, she did. She was there, and is still here to tell the tale. Not their tales though. Hers. With a voice as smooth as honey, a comedic wit that could shred brie and backed by a guitar maestro, the talents of Tina Del Twist will be easy to take in and enjoy.
She's the winner of Melbourne Fringe NSW Tour Ready Award and was also invited to perform at Adelaide Fringe and Melbourne's Winter Garden.
This show is presented as a concert by the deluded Tina. She sings. She banters. She thinks she is backed by an orchestra but indeed she only has a long suffering guitarist by her side.
Tina is the creation of Wes Snelling, an acclaimed award-winning cabaret artist, performance-maker, actor, singer, comedian, writer, director, producer, radio presenter, production/stage/tour manager and mentor. His home-grown performances have seen him tour throughout Australia, Denmark, Germany, Indonesia, South Korea, the UK and USA.
