Adelaide Fringe will be treated to a world premiere by 'Blanc de Blanc', 'The Purple Rabbit' and 'LIMBO' creators Strut & Fret, in 'The Party’.
It's an outrageous presentation hitting the stage for the very first time in Adelaide before embarking on a highly-anticipated Australian tour. An evening of sophistication, talented international performances. . . And no rules.
“'The Party' brings together international artists from the worlds of circus, cabaret and dance to create the perfect Fringe experience for (adult) audiences,” Strut & Fret Founding Director (and 'The Party' Director) Scott Maidment says. “It's wild, raucous and opens with a BANG, with the high-octane energy only escalating throughout.”
'The Party' lifts the curtain on the secret world of social climbers, rich kids, gate crashers, and hangers-on. It could be described as a risque exploration of the laws of attraction, where nothing is off limits.
Comedy direction comes from Spencer Novich ('American Horror Story', 'Blanc de Blanc'), and there's even choreography from LA's Kevin Maher (choreographer to Madonna, Rihanna, Britney Spears and Justin Bieber). . . So expect a high-octane show filled with surprises.

“'The Party' was inspired aesthetically by the 1960s, it borrows its name from the 1968 Peter Sellers film, and the show features bold, bright colours with an extravagant set bigger than anything we've brought to Fringe before,” Scott continues.
“We hope that audiences will embrace the swinging '60s feel and strap themselves in for a show that's a wild celebration, bringing together everything we love to see at the Fringe.”
“Expect great music, extravagant costumes, and an escalating energy within a theatre set unlike anything you've ever seen before at Fringe. If you've ever been to a wilder party – you're under arrest!”
'The Party' plays The Spiegeltent at The Garden of Unearthly Delights (Adelaide Fringe) 17 February-19 March.
