Premier ice-skating troupe The Imperial Ice Stars are returning to Australia with ‘Swan Lake On Ice’, set to take over Sydney Coliseum Theatre in early 2025.
The performance will feature Tchaikovsky’s glorious music, exhilarating new choreography from leading ice director Tony Mercer, and dazzling costumes. Plus, making up the cast, are 23 Olympic, world, European and national championship-level skaters.
Between them, these skaters hold more than 250 competition medals, and will take contemporary ice dance to a new level with their daring, graceful feats. . . Some of which are so complex, they haven’t yet been named!
Previous tours ‘Sleeping Beauty On Ice’, ‘Snow White On Ice’, ‘Cinderella On Ice’ and ‘Nutcracker On Ice’ have earned The Imperial Ice Stars an unrivalled reputation for pushing the boundaries of ice dance. They bring skill, athleticism, and powerful storytelling to the stage, as well as sumptuous sets, spectacular special effects and opulent costumes.
