Sunshine Coast annual multi-arts event Horizon Festival will transfer to an online format in 2020 to ensure the safety and wellbeing of artists, communities and staff during the coronavirus pandemic.


The event was scheduled to run end of August to early September.

Starting from June instead, it will work with local artists and communities to deliver a reimagined, smaller programme of online arts experiences and events.

The programme will aim to respond to the ever-changing times and lead the way to a new virtual Horizon.
