Kameron Michaels and Asia O'Hara
Our eclectic team of writers from around Australia – and a couple beyond – with decades of combined experience and interest in all fields.

The official 'RuPaul's Drag Race' world tour is touching down in Australia early this year, featuring a line-up of fierce queens ready to slay.

The queens are promising to present the largest drag production ever, in a journey to save the galaxy from a dark entity threatening to unleash its power and cause havoc.

Naomi Smalls, Eureka, Detox, Asia O'Hara, Kameron Michaels, Kim Chi and Violet Chachki are all part of the cast (subject to change) that come together to form the show.

Here, Asia O'Hara and Kameron Michaels answer some questions about coming to Australia with 'Werq The World' ('WTW').

What are you both looking forward to about heading to Australia for 'Werq The World’?
Asia: I'm so ready to meet all the Aussie fans from all over!
Kameron: I’m excited to start this next leg of 'WTW', we toured the USA now it’s Australia’s turn!

And the show itself… What can audiences expect to see?
A: This is a high production show so I say just 'be ready to be wow’ed'.
K: I have to agree with Asia, this isn’t your run-of-the-mill drag show.

Kameron, what was the highlight for you in getting so far in 'RuPaul's Drag Race’?
K: Everything is a highlight, really.

And you, Asia?
A: Being able to share my art has truly meant the world to me, and the fact that people want to see it is just the cherry on top.

What will each of you be bringing to this show across Australia?
A: I’m going to be bringing my flair, my everything and maybe some butterflies... x)
K: My inner Cher fantasy.

Have you both been here before? Have you heard any crazy stories about Australian culture, wildlife or weather you'd like clarification on?
A: Yes we were here last summer, it was all during such a whirlwind though, I feel like I truly did not experience Australia.
K: Yes I’ve been here before, and I remember watching MTV’s 'Real World: Sydney' and thinking it looked fun.

What are each of your favourite things about the art of drag?
A: My ability to create, and live my life to the fullest.
K: I think being able to utilise all your passion(s) is a big one for me.

Describe your personal style of drag in three words each.
