Rumour has it. . . A fabulous show has returned to the stage.
Australia's award-winning, smash-hit stage spectacular 'Rumour Has It' from The Little Red Company returns bigger and bolder than ever, starring the wildly talented Naomi Price.
‘Rumour Has It’ is touring for the first time since 2021. It charts the astonishing story of the soul queen herself, Adele, featuring a glittering setlist of heartfelt tunes paired with elements of the singer's upfront wit – both of which have had their hand in skyrocketing her to being one of the highest-selling recording artists of the 21st century.
Adele's story comes to life through Naomi Price's delectably brash words, supported by the vocals talents of Rachel Everett-Jones, Luke Kennedy, and Lai Utovou. . . Not to mention a 20-piece live band.
Audiences can expect to hear tracks from all of Adele's albums, like 'Rumour Has It', 'Rolling In The Deep', Hello', 'Skyfall', 'Easy On Me', 'Someone Like You' and more.
Adele is known the world over for her heartstring-pulling vocals and emotional instrumental accompaniments. . . So, what better way to celebrate the return of 'Rumour Has It' than to deep dive into the Adele that truly makes us want to sob?!
Here, 'Rumour Has It' star Naomi Price lists her five top Adele songs to cry to in the shower. Because when the water's running, no one can see your tears. And the acoustics are second to none.
One
'Someone Like You'. You honestly can’t go wrong with the OG. Sure, the repetitive piano accompaniment might send you into a trance, but there’s nothing more cathartic than the emotional release of ‘sometimes it lasts in love but sometimes it hurts instead’.Two
'Take It All'. The ultimate break-up song. Desperate, devastating and one you can bellow at the top of your lungs. I’ve dramatically yelled this song in my car during a storm with tears rolling down my face.Three
'Love In The Dark'. A good one if you’re the one leaving. You might not have the courage to say ‘I want to live and not just survive’ to someone’s face, but by god you can sing it.Four
'Set Fire To The Rain'. If you’re looking to angry-cry, then this is your jam. Brimstone and hellfire galore, loads of passionate and pyromaniacal imagery. Imagine the shower is the rain, and you’ve got yourself the set of a video clip.Five
'Easy On Me'. Love this one for anyone who’s lost themselves in a relationship. ‘I changed who I was to put you both first but now I give up’ cuts to the core every single time. If you can’t love yourself, how in the hell are you going to love somebody else?Rumour Has It 2024 Australia Tour Dates
