A magical evening of memories, celebration, love and music will hit Queensland Performing Arts Centre when Queensland Symphony Orchestra presents ‘Hopelessly Devoted: A Celebration Of Olivia Newton-John’.


Joining the orchestra for this celebration of an icon will be a line-up of stars from the stage and the screen, including David Campbell, Jess Hitchcock, Queenslander Georgina Hopson and Christie Whelan Browne. They’re on board to perform the iconic hits of Dame Olivia including ‘Magic’, ‘I Honestly Love You’, ‘Make A Move On Me’, ‘You’re The One That I Want’, and of course ‘Hopelessly Devoted To You’.

Olivia’s successes including four GRAMMY Awards, numerous Country Music, American Music and People’s Choice Awards, ten #1 hits, and more than fifteen Top Ten singles. She shot to fame globally when she starred alongside John Travolta in the 1978 film ‘Grease’, as Sandy. In 2020, she established the Olivia Newton-John Foundation Fund, an independent charity sponsoring global research into plant medicine for cancer.



In 2021, Olivia’s global smash ‘Physical’ celebrated its 40th anniversary, and Olivia passed away in August of 2022.

This evening honouring Olivia’s legacy will be conducted by Nicholas Buc, and is sure to soothe the soul. Whether ‘Grease’ is your word, you love to get ‘Physical’, or your neon light shines for ‘Xanadu’, it’s a not-to-be-missed event for all who loved this entertainment icon.
