Pyrmont Festival is a 10-day celebration of the best wine, food and art from Pyrmont and Mudgee Region.
The Festival will have thirty of Mudgee's best winemakers and gourmet food producers collaborating with Sydney's best chefs on exclusive dining experiences. If the tasters weren't enough, visitors will also be entertained with live music at the Australian Maritime Museum.
Lord Mayor Clover Moore said the festival was a wonderful feature of Sydney's event calendar. “The festival brings together some of the things that Sydney does best: location, wine, food and art,” the Lord Mayor said.
“Sharing delicious food, sampling some of the best wine from regional NSW and enjoying local entertainers is a wonderful way for Sydneysiders and visitors alike to experience the best the country has to offer without leaving the city.”
This festival is now at its third year and expects over 10,000 visitors to join in the festivities. The annual event will be joined by the well-known Ultimo-Pyrmont cultural institutions with events at the National Maritime Museum, the Powerhouse and Heritage Fleet.
