The spectacular annual championship showcasing elite Australian pole talent, Pole Icon, debuted in 2022 to a sell-out crowd and will return this June to Sydney’s Luna Park.

Adam Lim was the top performer of the night for the 2022 event – taking home the crown, while international drag superstar Alyssa Edwards attended as a guest judge and performer for extra-special star quality on the night.

The 2023 event promises to be bigger than ever.

“I wanted to celebrate my love of pole dancing with an annual event that allows athletes to showcase how talented they are plus offer unrivalled prizes including $10,000 for first place,” Pole Icon Creator and renowned pole instructor Chilli Rox says.

“Pole dancing has come a long way the last two decades with it now recognised as an official sport and a global fitness phenomenon. What’s great is that it’s for everyone regardless of your age, gender, sexuality or profession. Pole Icon is a way for the best dancers to compete in a premier event to a global audience, and even if you’re not a pole dancer yourself, audience members are guaranteed a fun and jaw dropping experience they won’t forget.”

Pole Icon 2023 takes place at Sydney’s Luna Park on 24 June.
