Are you ready to return to Neverland?
Hitting the Wonderland Spiegeltent for Adelaide Fringe is 'Peter Pan – A Neverland Adventure', featuring all your favourite characters played by a cast of world-class performers, in a night of entertainment you won't forget.
“Wonder and surprises await at every turn, watch Pan and Wendy take flight through the stars, incredible feats of fairy acrobatics so amazing you'll wish you were a fairy too, a duel of juggling between the pirates and lost boys, who will triumph?” Jessica Robbins, who plays Wendy, describes of the show. “And watch out for Hook with his flaming sword or you might be walking the plank.”
A magical land awaits – and Jessica believes timeless stories like 'Peter Pan' will resonate with audiences forever.
“Although we do grow up in time, there will always be a place in our hearts for telling marvellous stories of pirates, princesses, mermaids and faraway lands,” she says.
“Everyone wishes to find the person your hidden kiss belongs to and fly away with them to Neverland, that would be an awfully big adventure. That's why the 'Peter Pan' story has a place in everyone's heart.”
As for the show's setting, it seems Wonderland Spiegeltent is the perfect place for a tale as whimsical as this.
“When you step into the Spiegeltent you will find yourself transported to a magical space of twinkling lights and mirrors, which looks very much like how the stars sparkle over the Neverland mermaid lagoon.”
