Pasteup – A Hidden Melbourne Gem Appreciating Street Art

Pasteup
Our eclectic team of writers from around Australia – and a couple beyond – with decades of combined experience and interest in all fields.

Authentic Australian street art has a new home in Melbourne.

Pasteup is a new street art gallery and shop hidden away in the CBD, on the seventh floor of the iconic Nicholas Building. The opening comes after an influx of interstate and overseas visitors to the city who have street art at the top of their itinerary.

It's the only street art store in the CBD working directly with some of the most recognisable street artists seen on the walls and laneways of Melbourne. As well as displaying their work, Pasteup also sells giftware and homeware items, such as greeting cards, stickers, tea towels, stubby holders and more. As well as, of course, paste-ups and a select range of original works.

Some of the best art can be found away from the hustle and bustle of the city's main thoroughfares. Sometimes it pays to look up – vertical retailing is only just making its mark in Melbourne, giving Pasteup part of its unique flair for locals and visitors alike.

Artists featured at Pasteup are Adi, Astral Nadir, Conrad Square, Eddie Botha, Fikaris, Gnashingteeth, HWJ, Kasper, Leadbeater, Logan Moody, Manda Lane, Mort Murray, Oskr.2021, Ruskidd, Sahil Roy, Tinky (as seen on Tiny Oz), Tom Gerrard and VKM.

Pasteup is located at 37 Swanston Street, Melbourne.
