Kryolan Store Manager Dianne Murphy answers questions about the store's offers for Oxtravaganza.
They're providing free makeup applications and a special deal for marriage equality.
Why are you guys a part of Oxtravaganza? What does it mean for Kryolan to partake?
The Kryolan Darlinghurst store is a relatively new addition to Darlinghurst and we are delighted to become a bigger part of the wonderful community here. As we are a professional makeup company, we can cater to such a wide range of clientele. We want locals to know that they are welcome in store free of judgement, and our knowledgeable staff will help with any of their beauty/camouflage/drag/sfx needs. Attend a workshop, get a one-on-one lesson tailored to your needs, or book a makeup application with one of our professional makeup artists! We are here to help!
You'll be providing free makeup application on the day! Tell us more about how that will work.
We are excited to be offering a free glitter lip or glitter eye makeup application! So pop by the store, have a chat and play with some make-up!
You've also got a special deal going to celebrate Oxtravaganza and marriage equality…?
To celebrate marriage equality, we are offering a special bridal makeup application price of only $99 – usually $150! (Book on the day of Oxtravaganza to receive this price) Also, make a booking for any makeup service or lesson on the day and receive a free glitter/satin powder! Everyone needs a little more sparkle in their life!
Why do you think something like Oxtravaganza should exist?
Oxtravaganza is such a great way to show the Sydney community the local businesses that make Darlinghurst such a special place to be part of. Supporting local business means resources go back into the community and we are all able to grow.
What are you looking forward to most about the 40th Mardi Gras?!
We are so happy to be part of such a momentous occasion, through the makeup services and workshops in store planned around the festival, plus our sponsorship of the 10th anniversary of 'Priscilla The Musical' – these things are made extra special by supporting the people and community who built the festival 40 years ago and made it what it is today.
