OPEL Moonlight Cinema 2012/2013 Program Announced!

The Opel Moonlight Cinema has announced a stellar line-up of films that will make up the 2012/13 program for Brisbane — commencing from 13th of December 2012 to 24th of February 2013 at Brisbane Powerhouse.


This all-time favourite event allows you to watch anticipated new releases or old time classics, underneath the stars, with a picnic whilst enjoying the summer nights breeze.

The 2012/13 program includes genres to suit all types of film enthusiasts. There is a number of highly anticipated preview films including the biographical drama, Django Unchained; the dramatic thriller, Flight; and the hilarious comedy, This Is 40.

Making a welcome return to the ultimate inner city escape will be some of Hollywood’s most well known action heroes including James Bond in Skyfall and Batman in The Dark Knight Rises.  

Family film screenings include the preview of the heartwarming animated adventure, ParaNorman; the latest instalment of the popular children’s series, Madagascar 3: Europe’s Most Wanted; and the re-release of the Walt Disney favourite, Aladdin.

The program also includes a mix of classic and cult films including the coming of age comedy, Ferris Bueller’s Day Off; the ultimate romance, Dirty Dancing; the 1986 hit action film Top Gun; and Quentin Tarantino’s acclaimed Pulp Fiction.

For all lovers of sci-fi, The Twilight Saga will be shown (including Breaking Dawn - Part 2), the science-fiction film starring Bruce Willis and Joseph Gordon-Levitt, Looper, and the popular musical drama emerging as an early Oscar nomination favourite, Les Miserables.  

For a relaxing night out, you can BYO food drinks, hire a bed beaner and relax under the stars with further food and drinks available on site.
