Multisensory Van Gogh Experience Heading To Australia

Van Gogh Alive
Our eclectic team of writers from around Australia – and a couple beyond – with decades of combined experience and interest in all fields.

Van Gogh Alive is one of the first purpose-built, COVID-aware arts and entertainment initiatives, making its Australian debut in Sydney.

The exhibition, a large-scale multi-sensory experience, has reached more than 6 million people across 50 cities around the world, including Rome, Milan, Berlin, Shanghai, Hong Kong, Moscow and more.

VanGogh Exhibit 1

It's an opportunity to become immersed in Vincent Van Gogh's artistry. From start to finish, visitors will be surrounded by a vibrant symphony of light, colour, sound and fragrance, with the feeling of walking right into his paintings.

Van Gogh Alive, produced by Grande Exhibitions, is the brainchild of Melbourne-based Bruce Peterson, using Grande Exhibitions' state-of-the-art SENSORY4™ system combining motion graphics with cinema-quality sound, set to a classical score.

VanGogh Exhibit 3

This is one of the first large-scale arts events to open with COVID-aware considerations, including controlled capacities and managed visitor flow.

Van Gogh Alive opens on 18 September at Royal Hall Of Industries for a limited season.
