Splash Adelaide wants to help you bring the city's streets and spaces alive.
The council initiative is a chance to test concepts for a trial period and monitor their success, before an informed investment decision is made about the concept's long term sustainability — you get one shot, and you have to make it count.
Not a grant or sponsorship programme, Splash Adelaide is designed to help motivated people cut through red tape and avoid fees on the way to making their community-initiated, place-based project a reality. Projects can be musical, visual, recreational or just plain entertaining — think street parties and road closures; unusual activities in squares and plazas; and pop-up entertainment in squares and plazas.

This year's nominations close on September 7, with successful applicants to be announced in early October.
