Kate Lewis is a vocalist from Adelaide who performs a wide array of music genres.


Kate currently performs as part of a cover band called A Party With Kate, playing around Adelaide as well as performing at functions, parties and weddings. They cover a wide range of music including Foo Fighters, Cyndi Lauper, Pink, Madonna, Bruno Mars and Led Zeppelin.

Platform Academy was founded in 2013, by teacher and performer, Kim Spargo. The aim of the academy being to develop a unique interdisciplinary and collaborative programme helping to expand the opportunities and experiences of emerging artists in Adelaide. Platform Academy launched their 'Brief Encounters' programme at Adelaide Fringe in 2017, allowing students to create and perform their own shows at Fringe while being mentored by industry professionals. Katie took part in this programme, using it to launch her show 'Chicks Can Sing Chisel'.

Cementing her status in the music and cabaret scene, Kate has been a part of the Adelaide Cabaret Festival for three years now. She has also been involved in seven shows in the Adelaide Fringe since 2015, as part of the award-winning contemporary vocal group Voice of Transition, as well as her involvement in the 'Brief Encounters' programme.

Following the success of 'Chicks Can Sing Chisel', Kate is bringing a new show to Adelaide Fringe this year called 'Stone Cold Sober'. Here she will be doing renditions of classics by Cold Chisel, The Whitlams, INXS and heaps more Aussie rock legends.

Kate will be performing 'Stone Cold Sober' at Gallery Room at National Wine Centre on 2 and 15 March.
