With 2014 drawing to a close, The Judith Wright Centre of Contemporary Arts has already planned events for 2015, with the year set to be a big one.
The Judy has a range of events in 2015 from cabarets and burlesque shows to circus acts and film festivals.
Sweet, Sour And Saucy
'Sweet, Sour And Saucy' is a cabaret set in 1950s Australia revolving around talk-back radio love show hosts, Barbara and Barry. Get ready for some unique and debatable relationship advice through song and dance, combined with occasionally risqué between-song banter. Performing songs by Eartha Kitt, Louis Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald, Bessie Smith and Nat King Cole the duo are sure to have you bopping along in no time. Sweet, Sour And Saucy features fresh, energetic interpretations of jazz standards from high-caliber singers/musicians Antony (Tnee) Dyer and Melissa Western. The show runs from the 5-7 February.

Hot Brown Honey Burlesque
'Hot Brown Honey Burlesque' is a mixture of dance, comedy, poetry, circus, song, and striptease. Covering a range of topics and issues, the show gives the perfect opportunity to smash stereotypes and remix the system. The cabaret transports the audience from the simmering shores of Polynesia to the bogan streets of Australia and to the life of a single mother who just happens to be a DJ. 'Hot Brown Honey Burlesque' showcases the talents of the creators, Luscious Lisa Fa'alafi, the Curvaceous Candy B and the Bodacious Busy Beatz. The cabaret show runs from the 19-28 March.
