UK comedy genius Jennifer Saunders is coming to The Wheeler Centre, darling.
The 'Absolutely Fabulous' creator headlines the Melbourne cultural institution's massive 2014 program, which also includes appearances from literary giants Alain de Botton, Rachel Kushner, Alison Bechdel, David Malouf, Alexander McCall Smith, Elizabeth Gilbert, Jung Chang, Alex Miller, Lionel Shriver, Michael Robothan and more (seriously, that's just the tip of the iceberg).

Saunders released her acclaimed autobiography, 'Bonkers: My Life In Laughs', last year. All the classic moments ('The Comic Strip', 'French And Saunders', 'Ab Fab', her marriage to Adrian Edmondson) get a mention in the book, as do other events that the notoriously forgetful Saunders pieces together with the help of old schoolbooks and incomplete diaries.
Tickets are $35 ($20 concession), and can be bundled with a special paperback edition of 'Bonkers: My Life In Laughs' for an additional $25.
