Jekyll & Hyde – Top 5 Date Nights With A Slightly Isolated Dog's Leo Gene Peters

'Jekyll & Hyde' 'Jekyll & Hyde'

There'll be comedy, thrills, chaos and delight when award-winning theatre company A Slightly Isolated Dog brings 'Jekyll & Hyde' to the Redland Performing Arts Centre stage in Queensland.

Monsters will come out to play in this completely reworked version of Robert Louis Stevenson's inspired novella. It's an outrageous story of morality, mortality and mayhem – Jekyll is the type to wash and separate his recycling, and put it in the correct bin. Meanwhile, Hyde uses the last of the toilet roll and never replaces it, and drains the shared account to buy cigarettes. Who does that?!

Watch as A Slightly Isolated Dog shakes things up and injects its brand of comedy and entertainment into this classic story.

Hot tip: If you're after a bit of extra fun on the night of the performance at Redland Performing Arts Centre, there's a pre-show soirée from 6:30pm where you can grab nibbles and a drink!

Bringing the show to life is Director Leo Gene Peters, joined by motley crew Ginger, Julie, Bastien, Lily and Philippe.

Here, ahead of the show, Leo Gene Peters lists his top five ideal date nights – aside from, of course, heading along to 'Jekyll & Hyde'.

Go to a very expensive dinner, a place you have always wanted to go to, and have whatever you want. Worry about the fact that you will be deep into debt the next day.

A haunted tour through the Old Melbourne Gaol. Terrifying and very arousing!

Build a fort and watch a trilogy of movies inside it: perhaps the original 'Jurassic Park' movies?

A romantic stroll and a picnic by the Brisbane River – get your amorous steps in.

A sexy FaceTime with wine and 'other activities' – for that isolation option during COVID times.

'Jekyll & Hyde' plays Redland Performing Arts Centre (Queensland) 13 May.
