Kiss My Camera, a music photography competition and exhibition that showcases the work of emerging and established WA music photographers, needs your help to fund the competition's prizes and framing costs.
Kiss My Camera is a joint effort between the WA Museum and WAM, both organisations donating their time and resources every year to get the project happening. In 2013 the exhibition will launch in November at the gorgeous heritage-listed Hackett Hall at the WA Museum's Perth site, as part of the WAMi Festival.
Fifty of the best competition works will be chosen to exhibit, with prize categories for Best Live Image and Best Portrait selected from the final fifty. Kiss My Camera will also be sharing the love regionally and will tour to Albany in 2014.
This year is Kiss My Camera's fifth anniversary, so to celebrate, they want to offer a cash prize to each winner for the first time in the history of the competition. It's all about shining a light on the amazing creative talents and incredible output of WA's music photographers, so if you love music and photography, it couldn't hurt to look over their Pozible campaign.
They're looking to raise $1,500 in total. In order to entice your support, there's a lot of fun stuff on offer — anything from tickets to see live music to major surrealist art exhibitions, Egyptian mummies and more.
