One of the stars of the show is rolla bola performer Gediminas Pavlovicius, aka 'Geddy'. Born into a family of circus entertainers, Geddy has gone on to win international awards, tour with Cirque du Soleil's 'Wintuk', and perform regularly at home in the United States.

You grew up in a family of circus performers, do you think you were always destined for this career?
Yes, I guess since my parents did a balancing act themselves.

Cirque Adrenaline1How would you describe rolla bola to people unfamiliar with it?
You put a tube on the ground so it would roll side to side and you put a board on top of it, jump up and start balancing.

What drew you towards rolla bola in particular?
I saw a some circus guy performing it and I thought I would be good at it – and I am.

Your act involves some incredible feats of balance, what do you find the most difficult?
Most difficult, is not coming in mentally prepared.

How long have you been touring with the troupe?

With Adrenaline it's my third time working with them. First time was in Brisbane in 2011.

Cirque Adrenaline stars a lot of former Cirque du Soleil members, have you worked with a lot of these performers before?

Yes I have worked with Cirque du Soleil and yes I'll be reunited with some old friends.

My highlight's probably winning 3rd in the world in 2005 and being on 'The Ellen Show', twice. First on her TV station in Chicago theatre and after that in Burbank California at her talk show studio.

What do you do when you're not touring or performing?

When I'm not doing shows I work on race car/ race go karts, snowboard, surf, mountain bike, hike and practice mixed marshal arts, mainly Brazilian jujitsu.

Cirque Adrenaline3What can we expect to see from Cirque Adrenaline?

What to expect from the show adrenaline!? I would say a lot of exciting thrilling things the cast is going to be amazing the shows and be amazing it's going to be a big project Doug audience should be in for a thrill.
