Electronic cabaret showman Tomás Ford is known for taking audiences on an unpredictable thrill ride from confusion through to delight that often sees him end his shows carried aloft.
This year, he will be bringing his hit Edinburgh Fringe show An Audience With Tomás Ford to Fringe World in Perth and Adelaide Fringe. The show has been nominated alongside five shows for a TO&ST Edinburgh Cabaret Award and listed in The Scotsman's nine Best Shows Of The Free Fringe. This is the first time Ford will be playing his new show in Australia.
Having performed in numerous Australian tours alongside various acts from Gary Numan, Regurgitator to Birds Of Tokyo, the show is filled with party-starting songs. This debauched, hour-long party showcases Ford's costume-changing, audio-visual projecting, dance-music crooning, audience-baiting cabaret in its most tightly refined form yet.
An Audience With Tomás Ford is happening at Bok Choy Ballroom, part of Perth's first independent fringe hub programmed and managed by Tomás Ford with producers JumpClimb. The cabaret star will also be kicking it at Tuxedo Cat in Adelaide.
