A hit overseas in New York and Las Vegas, ‘Friends! The Musical Parody’ has hit Australian shores.
When it hasn’t been your day, your week, your month, or even your year, this cast of iconic roles will be there for you – Annie Chiswell (‘Shrek’, ‘Mamma Mia’) is Monica, Belinda Jenkin (’50 Shades! The Musical Parody’, ‘Top Gun The Musical’) is Phoebe, Eleanor Macintyre (‘The Hello Girl’, ‘Sweet Charity’) is Rachel, WAAPA graduate Maverick Newman (‘The King and I’, ‘Spring Awakening’) is Chandler, Conor Putland (‘Once On This Island’, ‘Dogfight’) is Joey, and Tyran Stig (‘The Drowsy Chaperone’, ‘Little Shop of Horrors’) makes his professional debut in the role of Ross.
‘Friends! The Musical Parody’ sees these six iconic friends come together at their favourite cafe for a night of unstoppable laughs. The musical lovingly lampoons the beloved NBC sitcom, celebrating the misadventures of these 20-something pals navigating the pitfalls of work, life, and love, in 1990s Manhattan. The show has already visited Adelaide, Hobart, Wollongong and Sydney this year.

It’s just another seemingly typical day at Central Perk, until an unexpected runaway bride enters the picture, kicking the whole gang out of second gear. Ross, Rachel, Chandler, Monica, Joey and Phoebe navigate life and friendship and relive iconic moments from the smash-hit TV show. An uncensored, fast-paced, music-filled romp, the show is directed by Dash Kruck, with choreography from Cameron Mitchell, set and costume design from Frances Hannaway, lighting design by Jason Glenwright and musical direction by Steven Kreamer.
“We couldn’t be more thrilled with this incredibly talented cast who are bringing our favourite friends to life on stage,” Producer Sam Klingner says.
