Some of Australia's most respected and buzzworthy musicians and DJs will indulge in a little culture at the National Gallery of Victoria for Friday Nights At Monet's Garden.
"The Friday night series will completely transform the Gallery through these major evening events and will run over the final ten weeks of Monet's Garden," said NGV director Tony Ellwood.
"The music line-up will include some of Australia's most well-known artists such as Vance Joy, Robert Forster, Machine Translations, Good Heavens, Brighter Later, Halfway, Courtney Barnett, Seekae, Harmony and Jae Laffer. As well as music acts in the Great Hall, visitors can catch a 'pop-up' talk with special guests including host of Gardening Australia, Costa Georgiadis, celebrated chef Matt Wilkinson, and Australian contemporary artist Fiona Hall. Their insights will enlighten, entertain and no doubt be full of interesting surprises."
A range of food and drink options will be available, and will include everything from bar food to bistro style suppers.
Exclusive to NGV, the Monet's Garden exhibition features more than sixty works devoted to Claude Monet's iconic garden at Giverny. It will be on disply until September 8.
