Fans of Japanime classic Neon Genesis Evangelion will soon be allowed a glimpse into the franchise when the Japan Foundation brings the 2013 Evangelion Art Exhibition to Sydney in May.
The exhibition features rarely-seen artefacts from the show, including original drawings, concept artworks, and exclusive merchandise.
Also on show is anime voice actress Yuko Miyamura, who lends her vocals to Evangelion's feisty Asuka.
The one-day-only program Meet The Voice Of Asuka includes a Q&A session with Miyamura, as well as a voice acting workshop for anyone keen to hone their skills.
Miyamura, whose wealth of experience includes voicing characters in Astro Boy and Pokemon, will select participants herself via online video submissions.
The session will be conducted by Geek of Oz editor and anime writer, Ryan Huff, and will allow fans a look at what goes on behind the scenes of an anime production.
