Six hotel rooms. Six live photo shoots. You take the pictures.

Controversial conceptual artist and marijuana activist Jesse Willesee will combine forces with Brisbane's equally headline-savvy creative agency Sticks And Stones to host one night of bonkers live art and fashion. Held in the hotel rooms above The Elephant Hotel in Brisbane, the venue will be transformed into six live photo shoots, created and curated by Jesse, plus a whole host of Brissy talent.

Arriving in style for the attention-worthy expo will be Ainsley Hutchence and Sebastian Fougere of Sticks And Stones Agency, as well as a group of Brisbane’s wicked designers, creative agencies and stylists, including Tamzen Holland, Izak And Jake, Analogue Digital and Firstcoat. Sydney’s mysterious street-wear legend, Demian Renucci will make an appearance along with a host of Instagram models and personalities.

Sticks And Stones AgencySticks And Stones Agency – Vegas Wedding

After their unconventional wedding photos were shared globally last year, Sticks And Stones Agency found themselves at the centre of another viral storm when they made headlines when Instagram closed (and shortly thereafter, reopened) their account. With a staggering 160 thousand followers, their ground-breaking and shocking account was shut down because a single image featured pubic hair. Yep.

Staged in Brisbane for the first time, 'Camera Club' is a revival of Sydney-based talent Jesse's popular 'Seven Hundred Photos' live events. Previously staged in Sydney and Los Angeles, punters where invited to watch and photograph controversial fashion shoots and art installations live in a chaotic hotel room with a party atmosphere.

Repeatedly making headlines Jesse hosts his own pro-medicinal marijuana protest series 'Marijuana Is Not A Crime' – which last year saw him smoking joints outside six police stations as well as Parliament House. Arrested for sparking up outside Sydney's Town Hall, his '420' protested spawned a viral video with over a million hits.

Before this, the artist featured internationally across a number of news networks and various channels with his 'Tabloid Art' project, which involved creating headlines around a serious of performance art stunts – including his viral photographic exhibits 'The Government Is Watch You Fuck' and 'Andy Warhol With Better Features'.

Blending their creative energies and flame for appealing to international controversy, Sticks And Stones and Jesse Willesee present an intense, cool and chaotic live experience. Expect insanity.

'Camera Club' will take place upstairs at The Elephant Hotel, 2 July.
