International dance sensation ‘Burn The Floor’ is set to embark on a mega tour around the country, starring the much-loved, supremely talented Phil Burton of Human Nature.
The tour commences in Western Australia in August, before it hits Queensland, Victoria, Tasmania, South Australia, and Sydney.
This year commemorates 25 years of ‘Burn The Floor’, and the show, ‘Dare To Dream’, features the great Australian rock classics from the likes of INXS, John Farnham, Cold Chisel, Sia, AC/DC, Keith Urban, and of course music from Human Nature.
‘Dare To Dream’ reflects the dancer’s mantra, with each dancer pushing the extremes to bring their famous, infectious, rebellious energy to the stage every night – wearing stunning costumes, and engulfed in rock and roll staging and lighting.
For the past two-and-a-bit decades, ‘Burn The Floor’ has revolutionised ballroom – combing jaw-dropping choreography and ground-breaking moves.
In the cast, audiences can expect Alberto Faccio and Gustavo Viglio from Italy, Lyu Masuda from New Zealand, Anais Riera from France, and Sophie Holloway, Robbie Kmetoni, Jackie Chambers, Jemma Armstrong, Julian Caillon, and Lily Cornish from Australia – joined of course by guest star Phil Burton.
“I can’t wait to get a chance to be in amongst all the movement while singing the songs,” Phil says. “When professional dancers are moving it’s such a riveting thing to see, so to get a chance to see it right up close is a rare treat!”
